POSITION SUMMARY

The Drybulk Post Fixtures Executive will ensure that charter fixtures are concluded professionally according to the charter parties and ensure accurate and timely receipts and payments of hire and freight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle daily Post Fixtures operations

• ​Monitor vessels movements
• Issue hire/freight invoices
• Follow up on timely receipt of payments
• Liaise with clients on resolution processes for post fixtures issues

Responsible for claims, billings and invoice processing

• Perform processing, invoicing of hire payments and timely payment of hires
• Assist in negotiation of laytime disputes
• Process brokering commission to brokers
• Handle laytime calculations

Assist with implementations of workflow improvements

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/ Diploma in Maritime Studies/ Transportation with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a Brokering and/or Drybulk Owner Company. Candidate with more years will be considered for Senior role.
• Candidate with accounting knowledge with added advantage.
• A good team player and able to work independently.
• Meticulous and analytical with good initiative.
